Enjoy the atmosphere downstairs in the unique spa and cosy lounge by getting together with friends. What is more, upstairs you find the main floor with a spacious dining and living room, three large bedrooms and a kitchen. From both floors there is a separate entrance to the vast terrace, which, in particular, serves summer visitors.
One of Kaskilinna’s lovely specialties is the all-inclusive spa. The spa consists of a traditional Finnish sauna, a steam bath, jacuzzis both indoors and outdoors as well as a large dressing room. The warmth of the traditional sauna may be enjoyed by ten people at a time whereas there is room for four bathers in the jacuzzi indoors and for six in the one outdoors.
The sauna can be heated either atmospherically with wood or the fast way by two electric heating units. The separate steam bath gives the spa a touch of oriental exoticism. In the midst of the sauna session you may relax in the gentle massage of the jacuzzis while admiring the beautiful Finnish lake scene straight from the bath. The boldest dare even to go and refresh themself in the lake Pielinen.
The practical but stylish dressing room can be divided into two separate rooms by sliding doors. With such a solution it is possible to offer separate space for both men and women. The well-lit vanity table delights especially our female guests. Moreover, every visitor of Kaskilinna receives his or her own bath and facial towel for the stay.
The lounge downstairs is an ideal spot for relaxed staying and socializing with others. The imposing fireplace designed by the owner of the villa crowns the elegant interior decoration of the space. The stonesurface is followed by similar finishing both on the opposite wall as well as on the exterior walls on the first floor terrace. The beautiful stones help creating a fascinating atmosphere of a wine cellar.
For serving the guests of the villa there is a bar right next to the fire place. Behind the bar desk you find refrigeration equipment to keep the drinks cold and enable the host conduct fast service. A large flat-screen TV together with karaoke equipment provides some additional comfort and variation for evening gatherings. The small library on the opposing wall will cheer you up on rainy days.
The laundry room downstairs is particularly useful for active and sporty people. There is a separate entrance to the room straight from the hallway allowing you to take care of your hobby equipment and clothing quickly and easily. Additionally, next to it is a spare bedroom for one person in case the bed rooms upstairs are already occupied.
The dining room and living room upstairs form a common commodious space even for a bigger group of people. The wide windows bring plenty of light inside the villa and offer you a peaceful view to the lake. The dining table has a capacity of 12 people gathering around it but it may also be split into two separate tables. The beautiful ceramic stove and the flat-screen TV appear as part of the luxurious interior.
From the living room you may enter the large outdoor terrace. During summer time choosing to barbecue or eat on the terrace is a great option while enjoying the sunlight and white Northern nights. Especially for occasional parties and festivities the terrace provides some invaluable extra space. Thanks to the wireless internet connection of Kaskilinna it is possible to stay connected on almost every corner of the villa and yard.
The kitchen can be isolated to its own room by two sliding partitions. Thereby food may be prepared out of sight when necessary. The comprehensive range of kitchenware includes high-class dishes and cutlery for a minimum of 12 people, an excellent set of cooking utensils and in addition to the most common household appliances an espresso machine and a wine refrigerator.
Each bedroom in Kaskilinna is decorated in a different color theme. The host’s bedroom has got a powerful red color that impresses with its courage. Own fireplace and a separate entrance to the terrace certainly add to the pleasure of the hosting couple. From their desktop it is yet again possible to admire the harmonious view over the lake.
The colors of the other two bedrooms are silvan green and romantic purple. Both rooms have two twin beds that can be combined to make a double bed. What is more, the sliding partitions can divide the whole room when required. The walk-in wardrobes offer plenty of space for your clothing and luggage.
In addition to the actual bedrooms there is a loft for sleeping for 4 people. The beds on the loft are of the same high quality as in the actual bedrooms ensuring comfortable sleep to all visitors. Each bed in Kaskilinna will always be made with velvety bed linen before your arrival. At the guests’ disposal there will also be an excellent set of babyware and other equipment useful for families with small children.

Minimal booking period is a weekend (Friday until Monday). Arrival time: 16.00. Departure time: 12.00. In addition, costs for the final cleaning - 180 € and bed linen - 17 €/person are added separately to the total price. A deposit of 500 € is collected each time the villa is rented. The deposit also functions as a reservation fee and it will be refunded to the customer when the villa is left in proper order after the check out. Smoking is forbidden inside! Pets are allowed for an extra fee (80 €) but only in rooms including stone floor.
