Villa Helmi Wing is a luxurious place with its own indoor swimming pool. Villa Helmi is situated in the South-East of Finland, in Ruokolahti, on the shore of the deepest lake of Finland - Jukajärvi. It is about 50 km to Imatra and 33 km to Ruokolahti. On the territory of Villa Helmi, we're glad to offer you to spend time in a wing that is a part of complex of the manorial estate. This is a wonderful place for the romantic vacation.
Villa Helmi is the true family home of the nobility, that keeps the warmth and the spirit of the traditions of Finland. Villa Helmi is a complex of buildings for year-round living. The main cottage, where the wing is located, was built in 1970s as the hunting residence of the Finnish noble family. One-storey main building of Villa Helmi is built according to the traditional Finnish technology and faced with bricks. As for the inside decoration the panels of walnut and other valuable wood breeds are used. The view from the panoramic windows is admirable. There is 1 bedroom in the cottage with a double bed, bathroom, equipped with Jacuzzi (hot whirlpool), the living room, completely equipped kitchen, big Finnish sauna (for 12 people) with the swimming pool, 8 m in size, and a bathroom with resting room, and the glazed terrace. Heating is independent, automated, and adjustable. There are several household stores within the Villa Helmi’s territory.
Villa Helmi is 37 km away from the ski resort “Freeski” (Ruokolahti) and in 70 km away from the ski resort “Myllymäki” (Joutseno).
During summer it is possible to go horse riding, shooting (the hunting facilities) within the territory of the villa, fishing, and golfing. In winter the following activities are available: cross-country and mounting skiing, snowboard, snowmobile, husky safari. It is also possible to rent paintball equipments. Aqua-park, amusement park, shopping, excursions, picnics during steamship and yacht walk on the lake Saimaa and etc are among other activities, available for the villa’s guests. The cottage is suitable for those, who are fond of fishing. It is possible to catch: ruff, bream, burbot, perch, roach, crawfish, pollan, zander (pikeperch), pike and etc.
Minimal rental period in a high season is 1 week, otherwise the cottage can be rented for 3 days min. Bed linens for 2 people (including towels for sauna and hand towels, bathrobes) and final cleaning are included into the rental price. An extra bed linen is 18 €/person. Reservation of Villa Helmi Wing for a week: arrival time – 18.00 p.m., and departure – 10.00 a.m. Reservation for a weekend: arrival time – Friday, 16.00 p.m., departure – Sunday, 16.00 p.m. No indoor smoking. No pets. Catering can be arranged by a request (breakfasts, lunches, dinners to the cottage according to your wishes) and for an extra fee. Customers are taken 500 € deposit on the day of arrival and it will be returned if everything is fine on the day of the departure.
