Villa Maakotka - Villa, Cottage
Villa Maakotka (Villa Golden Eagle) - 160 m2 was built in 2006. The villa is situated on the top of the hill and faces the gulf of Peimari, in the archipelago of Finland.
High quality villas Maakotka, Merimetso, Lokki and Husula are situated in the beautiful surroundings of Finnish archipelago near Turku. All cottages are good for winter habitation and customers can easily reach them by car. The smart, winter suitable and well-equipped cottages create the perfect foundation for a successful holiday. The cottages are situated separately from each other; therefore guests will have their own privacy. You are welcomed to spend an enjoyable vacation!
There are no neighbours in a line-of-sight so customers can have their own privacy. The lakeshore is about 250 meters away. Up to 6 +2 people can be comfortably accommodated in the villa. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 toilets and one spacious living room which is also suitable for business meetings.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms with two beds (in each of them) and in addition downstairs there is a convertible sofa for two people. The separate sauna building is right next to the villa, on the other side of the terrace. In the sauna there is a big wood heated sauna stove and a separate washing room with two showers. Next to the sauna there is an outdoor hot tub (barrel bath). Customers can rent it for an extra cost (the price includes firewood, but the customers should do the heating by themselves).
The villa is equipped with an air source heat pump, an under floor heating system, a ceramic stove, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a microwave oven, a TV, a DVD player, a CD player, tableware and beddings for 10 people. There is also a heat retaining fireplace, a removable outdoor barbecue and an own rowing boat that the customers can use. The yard of the villa is flat, rocky and full of natural light. The own beach is situated about 250 meters away if customers use a pathway and 600 meters away if they go along the road. The best way to go swimming is to jump from the pier or customers can use the shallow sanded end of the beach (the other parts of the beach have a clay bottom). On the shore there is a pier and an own rowing boat.
The coast of Peimari in Karuna is well known for fishing: there are plenty of pike perches and big pikes living in there. Nearby there is a place where the owner of the villa releases boats to the water with the help of a tractor. The owner can rent out boats for guests who have experience in boating. Please ask for the boats in advance. There are also guided boating and fishing trips to the archipelago with a skipper (for max. 6 people). On requests it’s possible to order a catering service to the villa. In this area there are other villas and if customers need extra accommodation they can ask separately.
